A small note from Cissie, Simon's wife about the final Birthday Bash event in Brighton.....

".....Words are not enough to thank you all who attended ‘In Memory Of Simon Manning - 50th Birthday Bash’ at The Prince Albert, Brighton. Be assured it was truly appreciated and worth all the hard work and stress making it happen. We hope you had a fantastic night celebrating with us. 💜

Also, huge thanks to The Last Cry and Children On Stun for pulling out all the stops, from helping promote the event and playing equally blistering sets. You guys rock. After venue costs etc, £750 was raised for The Samaritans on the night with more to come. We will let you know the final amount as soon as we know ourselves. Lastly, we know Simon would have been ‘mighty chuffed’ and he would have loved every second of it, so thank you ever so much again.

Oi oi awesome! xxx... "

Big thanks to every one of you that came along and made the Water Rats gig a huge bucket of fun. Especially the fabulous Rhombus, big big thank you.

Huge thanks too to all of you lot, who've come along, supported us, travelled, bought a ticket, got us a drink or grabbed a tshirt, it's never taken for granted and always appreciated. Big ups to you...

Our last gig will be supporting the Last Cry in their hometown of Brighton [12th Oct], making a noise, having a drink in memory of Si's 50th birthday, while raising some cash for the Samaritans. It'll be [the stun at least] final Birthday bash. It feels the right time for us to part ways and to bow out and "celebrate" in a more personal/Hastings way....

So if you fancy coming along, there are some tickets left, we'd love to see you there....details can be found on the gig page

Thanks to all who came along to see us for an Easter weekend of chaos at Bannermans in Edinburgh and the weird half venue/half nans bedroom that is the Chameleon in Nottingham. We enjoyed ourselves rather a lot and hope you did too? We're now going to spend some time writing/living life so things may go dark in stunworld for a while but at least its not ominous this time..... x
